VPN Stability Scorer
Updated Apr 8, 2026
Enter your VPN tunnel metrics to receive a scored health assessment out of 12. Each of four dimensions — Tunnel RTT, Packet Loss, Rekey Frequency, and Tunnel Resets — is rated 0–3 and summed to a composite score mapping to Healthy (10–12), Degraded (7–9), or Critical (0–6).
Symptom patterns are mapped to likely root causes: frequent rekeys point to DPD misconfiguration or CGNAT expiry, resets to IP address reassignment or IKE lifetime mismatch, high loss to RF degradation or fragmentation, and elevated RTT to carrier congestion. Includes combined-pattern notes and VPN-type-specific advisory for IPsec, WireGuard, and OpenVPN.
